My name is Jay Butterbaugh, and I’m in the business of visual storytelling.  I want to help you make a connection with your audience by delivering your message with clarity and style.  I have a decade of experience in producing high-quality, professional video, and a proven ability in creating exceptional visual products that consistently exceed expectations.  Whatever your product, service, or story is, I have the skill and dedication to bring your vision to life.

My passion for video began in film school at Columbia College Chicago.  After attaining my degree, I took the knowledge and creativity I cultivated there and applied it in my role as a Combat Cameraman in the United States Army.  Here, I learned how to capture and create stories in a variety of unique environments.  This, in turn, led to a career as a multimedia contractor supporting Navy shipbuilding operations at Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia.  This role gave me extensive experience in developing, coordinating, and filming video products in a corporate and technical environment.

Throughout my time as a videographer and editor, I continued to advance my skills and developed a proficiency in planning and communication that was absolutely essential to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.  I have been able to use all this experience to satisfy a range of clients by creating exceptional video products of the highest quality and effectiveness.
